...what a long day yesterday....i rode all the way from Hope to Vancouver....100 miles, 160 Km....i'm totally exhausted and exhillirated- although it doesn't show on my face yet!
By the way, it was the first sunny, warm day in a LONG time!

...never been so exhausted....i'm FRAZZLED and i was a bit delerious today! Didn't think i'd make it! 145 Km through the steep mountains from Princeton to Hope...10 VERY LONG hours of riding! Lots of scarey moments, but i'm safe and TIRED!

...i've already BLOGGED here today, but i needed to add this...WHAT A GREAT ACT OF KINDNESS! i was exhausted, but decided to go to the Similkameen Spotlight Newspaper and i met THE kindest and nicest Editor...she immediately took a photo of me riding my bike and then took me to find a Motel ...the Manager and staff at Canadas Best Value Princeton Inn were so KIND as well and not only gifted me a room, but they took some bracelets and put an article about my bicycle trip on the office counter and… Continue

....it is so great to be resting at my friend Dunc's and his wife Janey's home on the lake in Kelowna! We actually golfed yesterday, but i'm so unused to walking that i had to stop after 11 holes....my legs (knee and hip) were in so much pain and i was starting to limp! i was also in a little pain watching my balls sail into the woods.

...WOW, a couple of GREAT GREAT riding days, then back to the freezing cold...they tell me it's never like this at this time of year! The shoulders today were really good...problem was i couldn't use them as they haven't been swept yet - they are covered in gravel which is 'very' dangerous! Way to go on a job well done! I hope you have accomplished what you've set out to do. We met in October at Wal-Mart in Abbotsford. You had your daughter with you. You're an inspiration to us all! I wish that's all it took to stop bullying!!! I need to get you to come into our school and talk to the students. They need to understand kindness. Thank you for taking time to do what you believe in.

...i'm not sure what is going on with my body...perfect riding day - finally some warmth and sunshine - and not a huge amount of miles...about 5 hours riding, all zigzagging on side roads which is tough and twice the distance - and i have been totally wiped out....no strength!...and i have some HUGE climbs coming up from Hope to Kamloops! YIKES!

...interesting that at the bike shop where they fixed my flat back tire...they were amazed after all my long distant riding i don't know how - not very good at - changing flat tires...well they put the back wheel on wrong where it connects with my trailer and my tire almost flew off going down a steep incline...almost a disaster...exactly why i 'don't' fix my tires… Continue

It's great to be back in Canada....and i was so warmly welcomed and felt at home with ALL my new friends and HOSTS in the U.S.....Together we are making a difference....YEA!

EVERYONE....i have decided to continue the bicycle journey as planned....i will be arriving back in Vancouver Canada on Sunday, May 3rd at 11 am at the Centre for Spiritual Living at 1495 West 8th (Masonic Hall) where i have been asked to be the Guest Speaker...i would be sooooooo happy and thrilled to see everyone there!
i appreciate so so much all the emails of support! It's been a long tough trip but the stories of KINDNESS have filled my heart and inspired me to carry on!
