...just short as i'm exhausted, but beautiful day for riding!
...interesting that at the bike shop where they fixed my flat back tire...they were amazed after all my long distant riding i don't know how - not very good at - changing flat tires...well they put the back wheel on wrong where it connects with my trailer and my tire almost flew off going down a steep incline...almost a disaster...exactly why i 'don't' fix my tires when possible!!
...i'm staying in Langley with Stan and Jane who hosted me in Indian Wells, California, as well...they are two VERY special people and i'm sooooo fortunate to have them for friends...their KIND hearts mean so very much to me, not only through this challenging time, but always...they make this journey possible!
...i talked to some very depressed street people in Cloverdale today...their stories could be any of ours in an instant, if a tragedy strikes...again, it is how we handle challenges, but we never know...it is so easy to give up, even though we've been given so much...one man, who lost it all - including losing touch with his heart - was waiting for the next train to come by so he could jump in front of it...very very sad!
i hope YOU are all doing well...you mean a LOT to me and to this trip!

i was so so sad about Peter Ladner losing his sister - she was murdered at Spirit Park by UBC...Peter spoke at my send-off on Sept. 9th...this trip is about stopping the violence ironically...we need to focus on the solution and reach are children and youth!
