...WOW, a couple of GREAT GREAT riding days, then back to the freezing cold...they tell me it's never like this at this time of year! The shoulders today were really good...problem was i couldn't use them as they haven't been swept yet - they are covered in gravel which is 'very' dangerous! The cars don't realize it when i'm right on their lane, so i get a few grumpy drivers....dangerous for me as well.
...if you look at the photos in the start of the BLOG on the top left, you will see me resting at 'our' beautiful cabin in the woods...i LOVE it there!...very serene and healing!
...it was tough leaving the wonderful Host family in Salmon Arm (Cathi, Anna, Jesse, Aidan, and the two cats that slept with me....they were so much fun and full of love....i had the best meals and a way too much dessert!!! Argh!!!
...i'm sooooo excited to be in Vernon and tomorrow in Kelowna...i used to coach the Okanagan College Basketball Team, the Kelowna Football Team, and i ran the greatest coffeehouse (that had no coffee) called 'Brock and Friends' with healthy food and wonderful performers 5 nights a week...i was even chosen 'Citizen of the Year' there by the Jr. Chamber of Commerce.
...It's Easter and my wonderful new Host family is having their family and friends over for dinner...i'll try not to be too much of a piggie! Glennis is busy away making dinner - i should offer to help and show a little KINDNESS!
...by the way, their Complex has a HOT TUB - i was just in it for a long time and did my stretching.
....i'm hoping the drama at our apartment is subsiding a bit...THAT has been soooo stressful....there are many sides to the story and that is the hard part, especially from a distance, to figure out what the truth is.
