...these have sure been an interesting and challenging couple of days in a whole different way! Things didn't work with the first couple who rented our apartment while we are away (me on the bicycle trip and Wilma at school in Victoria!), so we ended up renting to a couple we don't really know, but who were recommended to us in good faith...last night, the police surrounded our building and took the male occupant, who was trying to escape out the window on the scaffolding (we have a leaky condo that is being worked on - a huge challenge in itself!) that surrounds the Building....i was on the phone in the middle of the night - i can't go into what he is facing as the Detective has asked me not to, but it sounds serious!
...i'm not sure how long he will be in jail...he may be out today, or not for a while, but he does have our place, which is full of our possessions, until the end of April, when i get back from riding!...yes, i'm anxious to get home, but it won't be easy there for a while!
...maybe i'll just want to keep riding.....'just kidding'!!!!!! i'm sooooo ready for a rest and a long hot tub!
....i've had to stay an extra day in Hope because of all this so i'm behind one day....a friend, Chip, will get me to my next destination thankfully!
...i look forward to putting up some good news tomorrow, but i may not know what's really happening at home for a while!

....i hope your lives aren't so complicated...usually mine isn't! i have realized, even more, what a wonderful family of friends and neighbors we have in our Apartment Building!
