...it's always hard leaving friends...i never know when i'll see them again! i always have the best times with Dunc and Janey in Kelowna, and Bruce and Jan in Penticton! We laugh a lot!
...Bruce and i got up at 6am this morning and he took me the first few miles in his van, then i rode about 100 Km....he thought it was downhill but i was riding beside the river - a beautiful ride although the shoulders are gravely - and the river was flowing towards me which means i was gradually going up...with my trailer, a slight incline picks up all the weight of it!
...i'm almost HOME...the tough part right now is my legs....they are really really beat and i'm getting quite a groin pain, luckily especially when i'm walking....my WONDERFUL little pistons (legs) have very little left in them and tomorrow i go west on the Highway from Princeton to Hope through the steep, windy, mountain Pass....yikes!....on top of that it's a very LONG 80 miles, 125 Km.
..off to bed early tonight!
