....i'm so happy...my energy is coming back and my body feels a little less pain! YEA!
....i had a GREAT day riding...one of my best ever...sunny, great shoulders, wind at my back!
....got to Hope, B.C. and i was feeling good so i went to the Elementary school...on the spur of the moment the Principal and VP had me Speak with the Grade 4's...the newspaper came and took photos! Everyone was touched and excited and i know the message of kindness will have a 'lasting' impression.
...i'm at the library now, and children have been coming up to me excitedly....i just saw one child in behind the bookshelves pointing me out to their mom!
...Alie, John, and their 6 year old son were tremendous Hosts in Chilliwack and Laura Klein - Team Leader finding Hosts - had some emphatic 'NO's' from Motels in Hope until she came across Peter at the Park Motel....he welcomed me to the Hotel and gifted me a room because he believes soooo much in the 'cause' (sadly others, who said 'no' - not gently, which is appreciated and understandable - are likely the same people who complain about the violence, abuse, gangs, bullying, etc.....fortunately there are people like Peter and his wife, who want to be a part of the Team to find a solution!!
...i will be off to bed early, but i think i'll wander through town and get a YUMMY meal somewhere!....hopefully VERY healthy as KINDNESS begins with ourselves!
